After about 1 km there is a signpost (in Tamil and English) indicating the direction to the village of ATHOOR. Here TURN LEFT
Over the next Km 1.5 you will pass many fields and then will arrive at the village of ATHOOR. As you enter the village you will go over a couple of speed-breakers set some 50 meters apart and shortly after on your right you will see the Athoor Village Square with the first of our own “Cardamom House” Signposts on the corner. Here TURN RIGHTand enter the square where, facing you, you will see the Athoor Village “Kali Temple” recognizable by its green paint on the upper part of the building.
Continue straight along the left side of the Temple. Here the track bends a little to the right before straightening up again. You will see a shop called “Golden Tailors” on your right side. Keep going and continue past another small colorful temple on your right with a faded painting of Ganesh. About 200 meters further on you will see set back on the on your left a new 3 story high Government Building. At the junction just before the Government building TURN RIGHT. You will see on your right the large CATHOLIC CHURCH. Continue on, over a bridge and, immediately afterwards the road bears right up a small hill. At the top you will see the second of our “CARDAMOM HOUSE” signposts. Here you should TURN LEFT.
Continue for about 600 meters until you see another blue signpost on the Left informing you that you should go STRAIGHT ON towards “SADYANI KOIL (Temple) and “CARDAMOM HOUSE”. At the same place but on the right hand side, there is another of our own “CARDAMOM HOUSE” signposts indicating that you are just Km. 6 from your destination! at this point IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE DRIVER DOES NOT BEAR TO THE RIGHT FOLLOWING THE HARD TOP ROAD - BUT GOES STRAIGHT ON ALONG THE TRACK DIRECTLY AHEAD AS DIRECTED..
After another 8 minutes (or so) driving you will arrive at the ‘SADYANI TEMPLE ‘nestling in the shade of a Banyan Tree on the Left. Keep going straight on (don’t worry, it is not far now - just Km 1 from our house) and just follow the track. As you drive you will pass a few houses on both the Left and Right sides. Finally there is a small bend towards the right onto a rough part of the track and 100 meters further on ……….
