At “CARDAMOM HOUSE” we attempt to follow as far as is practical, strict Ecological Practices and use Renewable Energy Resources wherever it is possible.

Hot water is provided by 6 Solar Collectors mounted on the roof tops.

We have an 80 meter deep Bore well.
An underground irrigation system leads to surface DRIP IRRIGATION.
We make our own composts including VERMICOMPOST.
We make our own INSECTICIDES using Plants as a base.
VEGETABLE WASTE is ‘Recycled’ by feeding it to Cows!.
Food Tins are burned, crushed and then sent for RECYCLING.
Papers and Cardboard are sent for RECYCLING.
Plastic is sent for collection and RECYCLING.
“NON SMOKEY JOE”. Our incinerator burns all that cannot be recycled.
